Which new Cosworth team will be most sucessful in 2010?

k YEAH!Virgin F1 will be the most professional outfit out there and Manor have massive history and a good understanding of what is needed at every level. I doubt that Cosworth will deliver a decent package though and expect there to be far to many blow ups as they chase the M-B and Ferrari engines for performance, drive, low centre of gravity and fuel consumption.....with no refuelling!
I believe the centre of gravity is set by the FIA so they should all be simular.
I think the Cosworth power will be on par with MB if not better. Reliability will be important for them!
Maybe Team America will be quick because they seem to have a magic car that designs and builds itself in record time!!

If Williams is included, then it will be the most successful. If it is excluded, then it will be a toss-up between Virgin/Manor and Campos-Meta: I'd pick Virgin/Manor on the strength of its drivers, and Campos-Meta on the strength of technical ability.
Out of interest what makes you think these two are better placed than Lotus? Gascoyne certainly has alot of recent F1 experience and the driver line up has experienced race winners on its side, which none of the others do.If Williams is included, then it will be the most successful. Not saying you are wrong, i'm just surprised you put those two teams above Lotus when i think Lotus has the best drivers AND technical team behind it. I could be very wrong of course, but i'd be surprised if both teams you mention out perform Lotus.

I wouldn't be so sure about williams performing better than some of these new teams, they might have the history but they've been crap for years.
I will happily bet a whole packet of Jaffa Cakes that Williams will comfortably outperform all of the new teams. I would even go as far as; Williams will have as many points at the end of the season than Lotus, Virgin, Campos and USF1 put together.The bet is on the table!

The reason why I picked Campos Meta as the most technically-capable team is because of their partnership with Dallara: the company who produces cars for the IRL, GP2, World Series by Renault, etc. While Toni Cuquerella is not at the same level as Gascoyne in terms of experience and expertise in F1, I think he is qualified enough for his new role, and with his past experience in BMW Sauber, he knows how a competitive team runs. My only concern for Campos is their admission that they may not make winter testing, which is going to be a massive disadvantage in the early stages of the season.
I picked Virgin/Manor second because of Nick Wirth and his research firm. He is a very experienced F1 aerodynamicist and designer, and his company has enjoyed recent success with the Acura LMP1 car in the ALMS, which I think will translate well into F1.

I dunno about that - the other engines were designed before the refuelling ban (and maybe the 18K rev limit?). Cosworth can design a frugal engine from scratch with a powercurve that exploits the lower rev limit
