Racing with qualifying tyres?

Apparently teams have nearly all agreed to a rule which forces the top 10 qualifiers to start the race on the tyres used in Quali 3

Personally I was excited by the prospect of seeing a genuine pole position shoot out with no fuel, fresh tyres and the fastest man on pole. Now presumably we'll see drivers sacrificing quali pace for race endurance.

JUST STOP FIDDLING WITH THE RULES!!!

Qualifying should be about the fastest cars going for pole position!!

Next week they are going to announce that the top 3 drivers have to do the first lap in reverse.

I believe this will be done for cost and environmental reasons, rather than for entertainment.

Which is a shame.
