Looks like Schumucker has started the Driver mind games
early .. demanding the no.3 rather than no.4 as he says he prefers odd numbers..
Anyone have any other examples of other drivers doing this in the past (I'm sure there are plenty) .. or alternatively young Rosberg could just go out there and blow his doors off and push him straight back into retirement and let his driving do the talking
.. although I doubt that will happen

.. although I doubt that will happen Schumacher getting all of Herbert's telemetry but restricting Herbert from looking at his own data.

Wasn't there a classic back in the 60's at a drivers meeting at one of the GP's involving JYS and Jimmy Clark.
Can't remember which circuit it was, but JYS was in one of his 'track safety' modes and complaining about a particular corner, whereupon, Jimmy laconially enquired out loud along the lines of something like...
"So, Jackie, are you saying you're having to lift at that corner"

On the grid when raining, Stirling Moss used bounce around making it clear to all how much he loved wet weather racing but later admitted he hated it and did so to lull the other drivers into thinking otherwise.

Once, we lined up the grid and one driver (forgot who - drove a Metro) opened the centrefold of a Mayfair magazine waving it at the driver beside him who, totally startled, completely muffed (!) his start. We thought he'd lamp the other driver afterwards but the pair of them ended up in fits of laughter.

Mind Games, or more commonly known as “winding up the opposition” has been around in all forms of motorsport since the beginning of time, its par for the course.
I am sure all the F1 drivers participate, mostly its harmless, however if you can out psyche a fellow competitor before you start, your halfway there to beating them already.
Confidence is king, sometimes this comes across as just arrogance, but it is not necessarily so.

So who is the current King of Cool out there - which of the current drivers arent going to be fazed by the re-emergence of Schumi, or by their new team mate, or the apparent mind games / one-up-man-ship of their closest rivals. I reckon Red Bull as a team are pretty well placed to take advantage of all this off-season media carnage. Barely no-one has mentioned them, their drivers know where they're at, and the team hasnt undergone any major changes.
Personally I'd prefer Webber to benefit rather than sulky Wettel - but I reckon these two could cause some serious problems for the big boys this year.
