Started to look forward to the coverage and then saw his name on the list. But then picked up when i remembered the 5Live commentary option with Crofty & Ant

I tried to watch with the 5Live commentary on and it was interrupted with a news bulletin about some football match, thats even more annoying that James Allen.

The lack of an HD feed is down to Bernie, they're not offering it to broadcasters until next year IIRC. So glad such a rich sport is at the forefront of cutting edge media offerings rolleyes

Methinks FOM need to learn from NASCAR/ESPN, watching last season's Watkins Glen coverage puts F1 to shame, apart from the adverts!

mind you, if Bernievision did give the BBC HD feeds, they would only screw it with their pathetic attempt at an HD channel (read not running full 1080 HD and low bitrate)...

Are you implying that BBC HD is lower quality than the other HD channels broadcast (like the Sky movies, sport, etc.)?
We'd all love 1080p - but it's just not being broadcast yet.

We always switch to the 5Live coverage, the footie bulletins are annoying, but less so than Legard

Don't expect 1080p much before 2012. As for the BBC HD bit rate, I thought it was one of the higher ones...

Started off that way, but has gone downhill since. HD roll-out to the UK masses has got a long way to go and many obstacles to overcome.
