webber will get pushed at the end of this year, he's good but vettel will properly spank him this season.
surely that depends on whether Vettel stays? Before MS came back into the picture there were theories that Merc would be out to get Vettel in a year or two when his Red Bull deal unlocks.llewop said:

Will, will, will. I don't think Vettel will spank him this season at all. I don't believe the hype about Vettel. I think that Webber is currently a much fuller package and a better racer. I haven't seen Vettel put in anything other than an average performance (considering the machinery) when he has started from anything other than pole.Anyway, only 3 weeks or something until we will find out.

Webbers reputation for going backwards in the race stems from the poor cars he had in the past, which he did very well to qualify so high! IMHO of course

I back Vettel to come out on top but I expect it to be close (and half expect to be proved wrong!)

Personally I'd prefer to see Kimi and Loeb head to head for the WRC, I think if Kimi gets his mojo back this season he could be a real threat in 2011, it would make the WRC worth watching again, if they sort our the TV coverage.
You reckon? He'll have only begun to learn the stages by the beginning of 2011.deevlash said:

Webber is one of the best racers in F1. Vettel hasn't really done a lot of this. He tends to stick in the position he qualifies in (barring people ahead going out) this works to his advantage when he is on pole, less so when he is mid-pack. Webber will always have a go. I don't recall Webber throwing his toys out of the pram when things aren't going his way, he always seems fairly calm about everything. Maybe I think this because Vettel seems to have been overhyped whereas Webber seems to be a bit under-rated by most people. Am I just supporting the underdog?
Anyway, that's just my opinion. Vettel still has a lot to prove to this viewer in order to match the hype about him.

It would be nice maybe at some point in the season for each driver to be given the same car to drive on the sdame track.....to really see who is quickest...I think Webber would be right up there...
