Yes it's Mr Burns. I thought he was Alec? Not 100% though.

He's Alex, he was the guest speaker at our motor club dinner a couple of years ago as one of our members was involved with him rallying in the early Peugeot days.
Nice guy.

Mr Burton's Peugeot Cosworth...... better make the most of it, no longer allowed to compete as of next years regulations apparently.

Have another gratuitous shot (taken a while ago, but the car still looks great)

I was rather lucky to find a copy of rally cars at a car boot sale a couple of years ago. The seller wanted a fiver, I bargained her down to 3 quid...Lol

Tell me about it, every boot sale I go to, every time I go to Beaulieu autojumble in fact, every time I get near a bookshop I'm looking for a copy of Rally to go with Rally Cars..... best I've seen is 100 quid

Sadly I've nothing going back that far.... you must have been competing at around the same time as Nick Burton then?

I'm sure you've seen it, but there's a massive thread on the British Rally forum of old rally photos, I imagine there'll be loads of the car on there.
