Sunseeker Rally - Fire Engine on the loose...

Read part of an article in a motoring newspaper yesterday about a Fire Engine that ended up on the track during the Sunseeker rally a couple of weeks ago... Imagine going flat out around a blind corner to see a fire engine coming the other way... some questions need to be asked about that...

A bit like the JCB that started going down the forest stage not long ago.

Last weeks Motorsport News and Autosport both had pics of cars taking avoiding action by diving into the ditches.

Apparently it drove straight over the brushwood barriers that had been blocking the entrance to the forest road and merily went WD up a live stage.

Not sure if the reason for it being there have come out yet, but I know that one of the crews met it shortly after coming over a blind crest at full chat...... scary scary business and I hope they lynch the idiot driving the fire truck.
