It would be more exciting if there were 200 cars on the grid and at any moment a mad hatter type character could shout "change places" into the team radio and all the drivers would have to stop and get into the car nearest to them. Whilst being shot with paintballs. Also every track needs a loop the loop.

Only if you let me put Bernie on the grid in that G-Wiz as well....I would say every time ive watched an F1 Race its been very boring a case of switch it over after the start to be honest, British Touring Cars produces some good viewing but motorcycling racing delivers the goods. Although Moto GP has had the occasional boring race mainly due to the modern world of traction control.
