Maybe you could meet up with Steve Wood (Britcar Media Relations Manager) as he is looking for journalistic help at the meetings.

And, when cox/cox went off we moved up to 3rd in class, which was good, we had a teaspoonful of petrol at the time, which was bad.

We managed 89 laps having come in for fuel, cost us 6 laps, cox/cox managed 91 laps.

As a result of the fuel oversight, we came last.

But, we had a great day, loved every second, roll on Snett.

Ash, thanks for the tip on the name - I found it quite tricky to hear the commentary, take notes and photo's at the same time - more practice needed http://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/imgs/4.gif

Whilst I have personally thanked Alex for a great report, I'll publicly do so here. Alex will be working closely with me to create even better reports, and I'm sure all the teams will assist in giving him information and insight. It's very rare that somebody comes along who is willing to take the time to write-up our championship, so I hope you'll join me in encouraging Alex.

My own "official" reports have yet to be posted on the Britcar website, though the GT race report is now up on Dailysportscar.com.

I can't see everything, and I can't get to talk to everybody after the race, so if any team or driver want to give me some detail for my reports - or Alex's - contact me at [e-mail] as soon as you can after the race, and I'll include it - for instasnce, Ash's comments about the fuel issue, etc, were obviously unknown to me, but were a significant factor in the result.
