Thanks for the link, look like it could be an interesting series, just a shame the first race is at Yas Marina.

Nice one. Good quality fast stream too.

When's the main race on? Quali race is at midnight according to their schedule...?

I'll follow any racing if it's easily accessible. smile

I am not sure if the SRO really understand the web. ESPN are showing highlights at just after midnight on Saturday / Sunday.

Whats the new circuit like? Have they restricted access to the grandstands opposite the pits?

was pretty much a free for all with regards to grandstands and where you could go today. We spent most of the time in the stand overlooking maggots but we could turn around and see most of the new arena over the back.

The GTs put on a good show, quite a bit of passing, alot of them lined up moves out of the arena into brooklands. The F3 didnt have much overtaking which perhaps doesnt bode well for the F1, although it may be totally different with more speed.

A couple of the drivers I spoke to today are NOT fans of the new layout. Overtaking is not easy, the loss of a couple of corners does little to help racing and detracts from what Silverstone could be. However from a spectators point of view and with new pits to be built after the GP it is a massive improvement.

I also noticed that the pits grandstand have been moved further away from the track, seperated by a gravel trap?

Also the bridge over the pit straight has gone.
