Unfortunatly it's more like 2.5 TVR's. We had to change an engine so will be starting from the back of a 45 car grid!

Huge thanks to jamie from castle race engines who stayed up until 3 in the morning with us fitting the engine that he has let us use.

I believe it dropped a valve (unconfirmed) but the loan engine is now in so Mike can race.
Drivers are very sensitive about theis sort of thing though, so we can't be sure and we don't yet know the reasons.
He has enough to worry about, just getting out and enjoying his racing.
Good luck mike and well done to Jamie for getting him out there.

We have a man there, so it will be covered on Monster.

Danny finished 4th in both races - fabulous results, well done!

Both Mike and Jonny retired in Race 1 and by the looks of the results sheets neither made Race 2

Danny was great, in the last race he was second then spun off, but still came in 4th, he certainly rattled the cages of some very expensive machines.

Thanks for the comments guy's.

Danny kept missing gears, 2 in the first race catching 3 place cost him a few seconds, and lost his second place again by selecting 5th instead of 3rd twice allowing the 430 past,he spun going into, i think it's called vale? having caught the ferrari back up,

All the front cars are running flat shift boxes and i know if we had one in our car he would have had a podium?

This is the first time at Silverston and he went quicker in the race than in qualyfying, he ran the second fastest time in the second race.

We also had the engine out on Friday and only managed 1 session practice,A big thank you to Craig at Dyno torque for sorting it at his workshop in Birmingham within hours of me calling him to say we had problems, top bloke.

The engine has sucked a peice of metal into the inlet of number 1, and it sounded like the cam had gone at first, luck Danny shut the engine down straight away and came in.After a strip down relap valve and a new head gasket we had the engine running again by 10 ish Friday night.

Also thanks to Johnny Greenwood for the help as i could not have done that on my own and we would have been on our way home Friday night.

Danny is looking forward to Thruxton again a new circuit.

Regards

Craig

Well done Danny, fantastic drive. Any ideas when it will be on TV? Seeing your car running spurs me on a bit more to get mine going asap and gives me an idea of what ti might be capable of when it is running - Great inspiration! smile
