Finished the GT write up. It can be found here on Racing Exposure with a few photos too. The next task is to sort out the ones that have been asked for in the other thread.

Nice write up, but I'll correct one thing if I may: the Mosler puncture wasn't due to the tyres being old, as there was plenty of rubber left on the tyre when we examined it later. They'd only done about 70 minutes, which is well within their expected life. It was just poor luck, sadly - and I think it's our first ever Mosler puncture in over five years of running them.

Re. "getting things wrong", it's more a case of "not knowing the full facts". No journalist, unless he talks to each and every team/driver after the race, will ever get it 100% right - there's only so much you can put in a report before people tire of reading it, or you tire of writing it, so, write what you see (but don't surmise). Only the driver knows what really went on in the car, and in front of him on the track, and you will always miss some of it. Times without number I've been accused of not reporting a driver's "race of his career", but, from what I saw, it was a car going round and doing a bit of overtaking. Standing at Russell (at Snetterton, as you were) or in the commentary box (as I was), you don't know what's going on round the back, see who's using the kerbs at Riches, see those spins, crashes, using the grass all along the straight. I was glad of the phone messages from the outfield photographers (well done Paul Cherry) and the TV crew, to keep me informed.
Any driver, or team, is welcome to e-mail me (and, I presume, Alex) with details of their race, preferably in good time, for inclusion in the report.
