Does anyone have any spare or know where I can get some, even if it's off cuts,
as want to make, box to channel the air though the radiator, and not around it.
If not will make from ali.

I lay up sections on an old piece of double glazed window. If you're really keen and want a good finish both sides then you can sandwich them between two sections

Where do you get your matting and resin from, and what resin do you use.

Thanks Leigh

Leigh, Glassplys in Southport. Along way from you but they do mail order. Google them and you sorted if you want to lay the sheets up your self?

I get mine mail order from CFS Fibreglass Supplies http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/ If you are moulding shapes then getting some 300gsm mat is a good idea - for flat stuff then the heavier mat is fine

I just use ordinary polyester resin (in styrene) normally. Get some acetone for cleaning up as well, and their boxes of v cheap paint brushes are a good idea. As are the syringes for measuring out catalyst. An ali roller is also good for getting air bubbles out of sheets when you are laying up.

All the little bits start to mount up though unfortunately

Vacuum bag it and get a better resin content without as much resin. it shouldn't be hard. By the sounds of it you guys could use an envelope bag or something similar.
