Hi All,

We are staying in Milton Keynes for the Grandprix weekend and have parking passes for Whittlebury Hall as we are attending functions there each night after the race. Does anyone know what the drive is like in from MK? I've looked at going the backroads through Deanshanger and it looks straightforward, but I don't know if any road closures will apply. Anyone any experience of this route?

Regards,

Matt.

There will be lots of one way systems in place. I'd check the circuit website or the Police website for details. I tend not to go that way so can't help with details but you need proper info based on this year's traffic plan.

Traffic plan seemed to ignore that way into Whittlebury if you turn off the A5 early enough, but wasn't too clear. We've got an option to fly from Cranfield to Turweston, but that still leaves 20 mins or so on the 4x4 shuttles into the circuit

Can I ask what type of functions are on at Whittlebury Hall during the GP weekend?

They're F1 related, hence the GP weekend.

Our other option is to fly from Cranfield to Turweston and get the 4x4 shuttle

I used to live in Deanshanger and there were never any road closures the back way...my Dad drove us to the circuit that way a couple of times when we went to the GP.

*this may be no help at all as it was in the late 70s
