BTCC - Rockingham, who was there (SPOILERS!)
Discussion
So who was there today? Saw a few PH stickers in the car park, including a black mk1 Clio with various yellow bits.
Shame about the weather but it made race 1 a lot more exciting. The straight line speed of the Focuses is really something else, and there are a lot of mutterings in the paddock about them needing to be pegged back, if they make the car handle properly they'll be untouchable.
Matt Neal showed that if there's nobody in front to ram then he can actually do a decent job, the BMWs appear to be nigh on impossible to get off the line now, we're almost reversing the situation from last year now where the FWD cars leave the BMWs for dead off the start.
Congratulations to JP on winning race 2, and it was good to see Rob Collard giving him a run for his money at the end. Andy Neate seems to be getting his eye back in a little and driving like less of a 'plonker' than at Thruxton and JamesCrash Nash looked pretty good when he managed to keep it on the road.
Bring on Brands Hatch

they really need to sort out the car park situation.
most other circuits you can get out of fine this was ridiculous
Agreed, it was carnage. I was in the trade area and jumped some of the queues but it still took me ages to get out.most other circuits you can get out of fine this was ridiculous
Just spotted Harry Vaulkhard in back of shot on the highlights, he was hovering around the Chevrolet hospitality too. If you're reading this Harry, flip flops aren't really appropriate attire for a race meet in the UK in April

Free tickets...
When SEAT gave away tickets they got around 50,000 people there for the Cupra championship/F3/British GT.

just goes to show what the place could be like if managed properly and without the influence of some negative sections of the county
