And so it begins... Funny how Nico isn't mentioned in this, yet surely he should be their driver of the future? Shouldn't they be changing the car to suit him, and Schumi with all his greatness and experience, be the one the drive round it's issues?

They can't have one driver winning all the points and the other scoring hardly any. Rosberg is 2nd in the WDC, yet the team is lagging behind in 4th.

You seem to be implying that there is some sort of conspiracy in favour of Schumacher. But I think MGP is simply trying to maximise their WCC points. The longer wheelbase will probably not hurt Rosberg, since that would be counter-productive to their success. If they can use chassis that works for both drivers rather than just one, why not use it?

It seems to me that Nico is happy with the car and is gaining good results with it, they are now focusing on gettting Schumi up to the same level so they can have a good stab at both championships.

Seems sensible to me.

Agree it does seem sensible.

This is MS though don't forget. PH needs a conspiracy of cheating of other such underhand tactics wink

The point you all seem to be missing is that you could put Schumi in a Redbull and it may not make him any quicker. One of the many myths along with completing a race in 1 gearsmile is how he was good at adapting to ANY car? It seems that thats 1 myth along with many others that are being DESTROYED the more this season goes on along with his wet weather skills at Chinasmile

My only problem is what happens if he does not show improvement? What will Haug and Brawn say then? Give him more time to get used to the new Chassis????

Maybe, just maybe, he just hasnt got it anymore.

Here we go then. The moaning starts. How stupid are Mercedes to try and build a car that suits Schumacher better. Much better to stick to one that he clearly dislikes.

Isn't the issue with the car the lack of adjust-ability in the geometry etc? they are at the limits of there adjustments as they didn't build enough into the car?

Ive not read the article BTW so this may be a mute point.

No different to what they did last year with Button and Barri. The car didn't suit Barri as well as Button so they worked on changes to make it work better for him (brake materials was it?). Seemed to work out ok then.

Odd as it sounds there is evidence across sports to suggest that teams who have red as their colour perform better than those who do not. It's not a massive difference but it is there. In general you are better off playing a sport wearing red.

LOL,LOL, Soov, you used that line before the season started in how Schumacher would do this and that.I know you have money on him but its over - Schumacher has no chance on this earth of winning the WDC.

The only thing that will be getting wiped away is the delluded Schumi fans tears as they watch his reputation disintegrate as each race passes. We already have fans questioning his 7 titles - he should have staid at the Ferrari stands selling cars to the WAGs.

Did Michael Schumacher turn down your sexual advances at somepoint in the past??? That can be the only explanation as to why you come across soooooo very bitter and twisted over 1 person! At first it was quite amusing but now it all seems quite pathetic!!!

I read they were just changing to a chassis they used in testing preseason, as the one he raced in Asia is boken.

Your also missing that if we put your arse in your mouth, you'd still spew the same ste.

I am not the biggest Schumi fan, but if this helps him become a bigger part of the championship, great, I can't wait to see him batlling with the young'uns and seeing whos best.
