So, I have bought a ticket for my first GP. Now to sorting hotel and flight! Crikey, it is expensive! To be expected, I guess.

Anyone got any top tips for enjoying this particular event? Best places to stay in Montreal? Nightlife? Circuit viewing tips? I have a Grandtsand seat for 3 days down by the "Kubica" hairpin...

Its a fantastic GP mate, I went in '08. I also sat near Kubica hairpin.

For nightlife, head to crescent street in downtown Montreal, Jacques Villeneuves bar is there, along with plenty of others, there are bands playing too. Also there is an area called 'little italy' that is full of italian exotic on the friday night.

All these places can be accessed by the well organised 'metro' system.

Have fun, its a brilliant GP.

Thanks fellas - good tips. I like the accommodation - University Halls have moved on a bit in 15 years! Great price too - well worth considering. Thanks again.
