Right, have found it quite annoying betting on race winners this season. Mainly on the basis that the Red Bulls have been miles ahead on performance but highly unreliable. Backed Vettel to win the first race and got stung, haven't backed him to win a race since.
With the McLarens taking new front and rear wings to Barcelona, I think they may be more competetive in Qualifying. I couldn't back Hamilton at 7/2, no value what so ever, but will probably have a couple of quid on Button at 8/1. Was very impressed by his victory here last season, and personally I feel the track suits him.
If the rain comes I will be definatly be backing Mr Sutil, at 125/1. His performances in the rain have always been good, and this season he seems to have cut out the characterstic mistakes. Also there is no Kimi to run into this season!
Rosberg is a decent price imo, he has done nothing wrong at all this year!!!
For pole position, if its dry I will be backing Vettel for sure. I know the McLarens should have an improved pace over the single lap, but they need to make up a good 0.4 secs which will be difficult. Unless there is rain, or Vettel has a very off day Webber wont be in front of him. Have placed my 2 largest ever bets on Vettel getting pole this year (Australia and China). But wont be as confident on Saturday!!! :-( I know 11/8 is short but I still think its good value.
Think Massa is also overpriced at 12/1, considering Alonso is 4/1.
Fastest lap imo is a complete lottery!!! Lmao.

If i were a betting man, i'd be sticking £10 on...
Alonso for a win.
Lewis for pole.
Fasest lap to Lewis.
I think those are fairly sensible, though the odds on offer for those.... not terrible, but not brilliant either. I'm tempted by an each way bet on Rosberg at 16/1 though...Alonso for a win.
Lewis for pole.
Fasest lap to Lewis.

As for the odds side of things, i haven't a clue

With so many car changes in time for this race, best to wait until after qualifying before having a serious bet. You really need a seriously accurate crystal ball if having a decent bet before P1-2-3, let alone Q1-2-3... best to wait with so many changes.
The McLarens appear stronger with each race ...but, I expect several cars to improve too...
