The Hakkinen/Schumacher battle at Spa 2000 is one of my favourites, although for full-on ding-dong racing the Villeneuve/Arnoux lap at Dijon (1979) takes some beating.

that was an epic race and those two were all over the place for laps on end but personally, i great overtaking move takes place on the track, not the dirt around it... how rossi kept it upright i dont know but to call this the most amazing overtake just doesnt cut it with me...

Overtook by going in far too fast, and completely left the track in doing it.

Fantastic! Thanks for posting that. I had heard once ages ago that Piquet indulged in a spot of oversteer from time to time but it's hard to find footage of it.

Zanardi Herta was an absolute cracker, remember the day well and the first thought that came to mind when I saw the thread, beaten to it though. Great days of CART when every race was exciting.
