"Almost certainly" means diddly squat. Raikonnen was almost certainly driving for Ferrari this year.

Massa has just started talks with Renault, I expect a Kubica Massa swap announced after the Monza GP.

Hmm, sounds like he might get put out to pasture then.

A shame, as I think he can be quite a handy driver, and he seems like such a nice bloke (but then I suppose that is a hindrance in F1).

I find myself feeling increasingly ambivalent about Massa.

On the one hand I think he's a nice enough chap and it's good to see him driving again after his near miss last year, but then I think that's not enough to keep him in a job at Ferrari. He's good, but he's never going to be great... and maybe it's time to give someone like Kubica a chance to see what he can do.

If he gets another year at Maranello I wish him luck, but if not then I can't say I'd be bothered about who he drove for.

I should add that my opinion may well have been clouded somewhat by my move to Brazil.. around here, if you're not a World Champion then you might as well give up and go home... Rubens Barrichello's nickname is the tortoise and they used to give Senna a hard time!

I think it depends on Massa's mindset. Alonso-era Ferrari needs a fast number two driver, rather than a joint number 1.

If Massa thinks he is going to beat Alonso day-in day out, then he may end up disillusioned. However, if he accepts his position, Eddie Irvine style, it could just be a great partnership.

I think Massa has been flattered by Kimi's attitude over the last three years.

I'd love to see Kubica in a Ferrari but I'd be worried he won't get to really show what he can do while Alonso is there. For this reason I can see Massa still being there next season, continuing to do a solid, though not championship threatening job.

i don't think it's an either/or culture at ferrari (anymore). everyone expected kimi to walk over massa but when massa proved himself they were on a level footing within the team. maybe alonso prefers no1 status but if it's not earned and justified then it's not going to happen.

Massa out qualified Alonso- it's time Alonso called it a day at Ferrari.
