Some RV8 questions for the brain trust.
Discussion
I'd like to get the low down on the the RV8's that went into the original Tuscan Challenge cars.
Were all cars fitted with the four downdraught carbs and was this because FI was not allowed?
Could the engines produce the same power with fuel injection?
What cams or and spec were fitted by the factory?
Were the heads just ported big valve heads or were they better flowing Buick race heads?
Are any of you guys running either Buick or Wildcat heads and with what results on the dyno?
I believe you also run dry sump systems. Anyone have any photo's of the sump pan and how much height is saved over the wet sump?
Thanks.
