My Kangaroo set for the Silverstone weekend has arrived.

The online "tutorial" from Lewis Hamilton is a bit pants - not least because I can't get it to play to the end (although in German I got a bit further!?) - so I'm hoping it's all fairly intuitive.

Just wondered though - they supply two batteries, which obviously I'll fully charge before we go, but as we're camping for the three days I wonder how long the batteries will last - anyone had any experience? Maybe the kiosks supply exchange batteries?

I think the deal at Le Mans was that the kiosks would exchange exhausted batteries for new ones. Likely to be the same setup for Silverstone.

Are these worth the money? I got the leaflet through with my tickets and wondering if it is worth it?

Lewis says his Dad carries two with him at all times during the weekend! - presumably so he can watch the onboard and the stats at the same time.

A colleague uses them each year and raves about them.

We had one at LM and it was a bit of a waste for the wednesday and thurasday, but then we were concentrating on getting photos and meeting and greeting a lot then.

For the race it was a real help.

For the GP Silverstone TV on the big screens is so good at keeping poeple informed that the only time I have ever felt like needing one is for the live times and then all you have to do is put that up on your mobile these days.

I'm not sure whether we're going to be near a TV screen and it will give a back up, and lots of additional information. As it's so noisy I like the idea of being able to access lots of data in the absence of an audible commentary, even with headphones.

I have ordered one to collect on Friday at the circuit. Looking forward to getting it as
the reviews seem very positive. Will post a full review after the Grand Prix.
