What have they done it looks hideous, the current car looks a million times better!

why the hell would you want to do that when F1 is desperate to change the aero to get back to overtaking (something GP2 manages without looking fug-ugly)

Looks like a re-worked HRT F1 car. Would probably be faster too...

I dont understand why theyve decieded to introduce a new car for next season, the current car works just fine and the new car will be using the current tubs. Its just going to end up costing the teams money to buy new bodywork and get the tubs modified with the new head protection, money some of these teams dont have. They state these new cars are being introduced to bring them in line with F1 aero so does this mean these cars will lose the ability to overtake?

I really hope not, GP2 to me is the most entertaining winged, single seater series on the planet with close racing (sometimes too close) and cars that are now so very close to f1 pace! It seems mad that they want teams to spend money on body work when the chassis must be fine, while if they were getting to worn for racing id understand.

I do fear they will struggle to follow each other and that the F1 spec tyres they will use next year will be too good causing some very boring races. Time will tell though
