A bit of a long shot, but has anyone who's converted a road car recently stll got their dashboard knocking about? Ideally I want a Chim one but the only chap I know who's converted a Chim was foolish enough to sell his interior many years ago.

Is this for your racer Ian? Or another road car? Not sure if dad sold the dash on our Griff - I'll ask him, but we did sell pretty much everything that we didn't use!

Ask Tim at ACT... He recently dragged out his 2 seater Tuscan racer dash mould for me and made a couple in carbon fibre. Its the standard Tuscan binnacle/switch panel etc but with continuation across the passenger side. Looks cracking, and he can do them in glass as well if you prefer.

With a little trimming at the edges it should fit in your Chim pretty easily... Worth a punt?

Cheer chaps, weighing up a few options - yes it is for the racer. I need (and the series deserves) something better than sticking a dash on a bit of bent steel tacked to the forward cage bar and a Maplin project box for the switch gear. I've got a few options already eg carbon fibre flocked 6R4 dash (but thats too narrow), e30 dash (steel and heavy), mid 90's honda Accord (which plastic is winning at present).

Ours has gone unfortunately - but they do weigh more than an ally dash wink Plus you can make an ally dash look really good - just takes time really (and you can always paint it if you want lol)

You out this year then Iain?

Sorry, nothing useful to add but here's one I prepared earlier wink

Pasenger side, plus additional panel under driver's side, and SVA friendly with all warning lights etc.

No not out, just aligning my ducks in readiness to blitz everything.
And to add sorrow to woe, I've just sunk my race budget that was growing rather nicely into a new business opportunity...however things are looking good for the 2025 season.
