RB favouritism conspiracy

Well it's so obvious, that there isn't a conspiracy at all.
Horner originally claimed the difference between the two front wings for the British GP was that one was slightly lighter than the other. I heard this in the commentary too somewhere.
After the race Horner expanded on this to say the wings were of slightly different specs. I think he knew that pics like this would make it all too obivous that it was an aero upgrade not just a homologation one.
I can't believe a thing Horner says any more.

Would this not have upset the balance of the car?
Redbull are doing themselves no favours with the way they're handling this situation. They've got the best car on the grid by far yet seem determined to throw it all away.

Personally I love it 
This is old school F1, not the synchronised corporate swimming that it had all become.
We have in-fighting, politics, rivalries, skullduggery (and Im sorry but that is an integral part of F1 and I love it) and adrenalin inspired racing. We are seeing brains and brawn employed, out right steel b
ks racing and strategic and tactical racing. We are seeing the drivers and teams having to deploy every facet of their arsenal and the winner this season will be the team and the guy that has the best balance.
There is a tendancy on here to denounce Blow Job for not being the pure speed merchant Lewis is. There is equally feelings towards Webber that he is quick and tough as hell but also clumsy and liable for mistakes. Webber and Alonso have mental fragilities that can be exploited, Macca have their weaknesses as do RB. All their failures and weaknesses are high profile.
Well this Championship wont be won by outright speed, it wont be won by outright steel bks racing. It wont be won by being crafty and strategic racing either. It wont be won by genius designs, neither will be won by pure reliability or a manic development prog. Whoever wins this will be the most *worthy* World Champion for quite some time as they will have been pushed all the way by multiple rivals and every aspect of their ability and character will have been examined under the fiercest pressure.
Its brilliant My money is on Hamilton though, I think we are seeing a driver mature from being extremely good to being one of the best right before our eyes and I think he has the presence of Blow Job to thank for it.

I totally think you've done the nail head thing here. It's not the supposed tenth advantage the wing would give, it's the metaphorical slap in Mark's face that caused the damage. I think it shows that Horner isn't in total control, and that his inexperience is beginning to show.I thought how spot on Moss was when he said that the best thing you can do, is beat a driver that has better equipment that yourself.
Can anyone confirm something for me? I thought Mark asked for 'such and such' to be on the podium with him, but this was blocked by management and someone of the 'teams' choice went up?

IIRC he was asked on the radio, he said he wanted his mechanic "crunch" to go up, but there appeared someone from the aero design team (irony?) on the podium with him.Yes he asked for his chief mechanic (correct me if I'm wrong someone?), to go up there.
What I really loved about the post race interview with Horner was that he went into PR mode and tried his hardest to smooth over talk of a major rift reopening between the drivers and between Webber and the team, and then they interviewed Vettel... Who basically said there is still ongoing feuding as a result of Turkey and things had gotten worse over the race weekend!
As my friend said laughing, always interview the kid to get the truth!
