General admission - good position at Hungaroring?
Discussion
Chaps, in a few weeks three friends and I are heading over to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
We're staying in Budapest and commuting to the track on Saturday and Sunday. Where are the best places around the circuit to view the race? Will we have to get there at the crack of dawn to get a reasonable position or is the Hungaroring a lot less popular than say the British Grand Prix?
Thanks all
Dave

I found the area overlooking the last corner to be pretty good. The circuit is in a bowl so most of the second half of the circuit is visible from a lot of different places. You can't walk all the way around though. I've not been to the British GP so can't compare crowdedness but you didn't need to be there first thing to get a good spot when I went in 2005. If you're going on the Friday or Saturday as well, then use that to do a recce to find where you want to stand for the race.
