Does anyone know if it is possible to watch any of the practise for free, or a reduced price? I can only find full weekend tickets that include the Friday, but nothing for just the Friday alone. My other half will be in Stuttgart on Friday and was thinking of taking a drive to Hockenheim to see if any viewing could be done.

There's no such thing as a Friday only - which is a shame as they are losing cash that way. You could try buying a weekend ticket (still available from the offical Hockenheim booths) & selling the Saturday/Sunday ticket on. Be prepared for a huge loss though, assuming you find anybody at all.

I got into Hockenheim for very little the year Schuey broke his leg & couldn't make it by simply offering a tout with 2o-odd tickets to get rid off & onyl about 6 hours to do it less than the money he'd paid for it in the 1st place so perhaps you could try hoping that Schuey will announce his retirement today so you can get a cheap ticket tomorrow.

Im pretty sure you can simply turn up on any given day and pay for that day.

For example: Last year I went along to Spa on the Friday (havoing bought someones ticket cheap on ebay) and there were plenty of people paying the 50 euro single day entrance fee.

Just go along, if they arent selling tickets on the gate (which would surprise me!!!)

But in answer to your question : F1 - Free - NOT A FcensoredG CHANCE

Yeah, I guess it was a daft question really. Other half is going to go along tomorrow and see what he can sort.

Thanks for the replies smile
