Bike crash at Silverstone classic today
Discussion
Hi all
Steve lost the front end of his bike which was followed by another rider having to take avoiding action and came off, Steve was then run over by a 3rd rider resulting in a broken upper arm, he was taken to Northampton Hospital along with his wife and daughter. He was concious which is always a good sign, as I get more details I will update and keep you posted.
It was the only damper on what was a great weekend for the CRMC, after all it was supposed to be a couple of fun parades to show off a little of what we do. The club is a very serious race clup and the action on track is as fearsome and intense as you will find anywhere. We have the honour of Re-opening Donington Park on the 13th, 14th, 15th August, so if we want to be blown away by some world class racing then come along, tickets should be around £15, camping is usually free and we run an open paddock....
Hopefully see you all there for this historic event....
Regards
John
