I have to say that I feel sorry for the guy, but I assume that it is the money that is talking here.

I hope he joins the bbc red button commentary team again for Friday practice as I found him enjoyable and extreemly knowledgeable to listen to last week.

But two races down does not inspire confidence that he will get the seat back.

Agree with you all. Gutted for him, he seems like a good bloke, however I do hope he goes on BBC red button again - that was most enjoyable and he was very good on it.

Sakon's bag of yen is clearly substantially bigger then his bag of talent. I hear his retirement in Hungary was due to accidentally hitting the kill switch while trying to adjust the brake bias....

I feel gutted for Karun, everyone I know who has met him say he's a top bloke and he really deserves a better car than he has at the moment to show what he can do.

Put your money on him driving for Force India next year. Makes perfect PR sense. An Indian driver racing for an Indian F1 team in the same season that we get the first Indian F1 GP!

He'll get his chance soon enough - He's driven an F1 car in anger, which is really hard to do at the moment with the testing ban.

They've probably spent all their budget on Toyota's Cologne headquarters and wind tunnel, staff and the designs of its unraced TF110. (Despite Stefan GP buying the chassis).

I've heard this sentence a few times now and it's really starting to irritate me. Does anyone really beleive that nonsense? As if Hispania really need more than 2 races (or any at all) to figure out Yamamoto is hopeless. Still as mentioned by a few people already, will be good if he's back on the red button coverage again this Friday.

Not really, Sakon was rubbish before, he's rubbish now and is only there because Hispania have barely got two brass farthings to rub together and need the shopping trolley of used banknotes he brings with him to each race. There are a lot of rumours about now suggesting that they won't be there next year unless they can land a big sponsor soon.

But why evaluate a new driver when you have a half decent pair of drivers already? Money talks....

Oh I don't disagree that it seems to be a case of money talks, and as i said above I do like Chandhok, but my point was simply that a young team with essentially unproven drivers shouldn't seem odd to want to try something different. Just a devil's advocate if you will

I was very surprised to learn at Silverstone that Senna wouldn't be racing, considering he brings not inconsiderable sponsorship from Embratel, considerabily in excess of the reported US$2m Yamamoto paid for that Silverstone drive...so I am now not surprised that Chandhok has had to relinquish his seat, but Chandhok does seem a really nice chap and perfect PR material for FIFI....On that note, does anyone thing that come May next year FIFI may start to go backwards?
