After the announcement at Mallary regarding rolling starts, I asked JR why this decision had been made. He said that he thought it would be safer that some drivers agreed.

I'm not sure who the drivers are that had previously been asked about it but everybody I spoke to hadn't been approached, did not agree and certainly didn't want rolling starts. One driver stated that he will not be racing again in this series if we went to rolling starts. Obviously with our fairly low grid numbers we cannot afford to loose anybody.

Personally (as a Class C driver) I do not like rolling starts as I feel it takes away some of the excitement and I'm not comfortable with going into the first corner / braking zone with relatively cold tyres at an elevated speed.

JR said he would reconsider. So....... who wants them and who doesn't. I don't.

I cant see an e-mail address that looks like yours on there, can you pm me with it and i'll send out an invite.

Whilst you can look at the messages on there directly as a forum, the main feature of the list is that all the messages get e-mailed to you so you dont need to specifically go somewhere to check them, the messages come to you. looks like a few people might be having spam filter issues though..

You may have to check your Yahoo groups profile as you can choose whether to receive e-mails or not or a daily digest. Do people have to be registered with Yahoo to be a member of the group?

I've checked all 24 people on the list so far, and they are all set to individual e-mails ( dollyman wasnt but is now)

You will need to sign up to yahoo, but its free and only takes a second..

Check your junk mail first, then if anyone is still having an issue, drop me a line and i'll sort it..

Mine won't let me select my normal e mail address - it will only let me use the yahoo e mail address it made me set up when I registered. Which kind of defeats the object!

Andy - at the top of the group home page, just above where it says "tvr challenge in the big blue bar, there's a link that says "Edit membership". If you click that you're taken to another page where you can edit all your membership details.

Step 1 on this page is for contact information, 2nd entry is e-mail address. Mine shows my Yahoo e-mail and my work e-mail, with the work e-mail selected. Just below this there is another link to add a new e-mail address.

I've just gone through the process and added my TVRCC e-mail and selected as the default one so it should work.

I've tried that numerous times - it tells me that my e mail address has been disabled. I go in and select it as my chosen option, save, come out and it makes no difference.

Right, I think I've sorted this Yahoo thingy. It would appear that I had the wrong email address set in the options hence why I haven't received any messages to date. I've corrected that so I'll see what happens.

Andy - have you verified that e-mail address with Yahoo? I got sent an e-mail to which I had to reply to verify the address
