Is it just me or is the sight of Juha Kankkunen(51 years old now) beating Kimi Räikkönen (as @ SS7) in the overall leaderboard likely to encourage Kimi to think quite a bit harder about returning to F1?

I know. As glib as it sounds, the spectator clip doesn't look quite as scary as the on-boards. Still a moment for the drivers though....

Not surprised to see the normal spectacular Finnish crashes on the links above.

Wish I was there. Wearing my Rally Finland top today that is now 4 years old and still haven't made it back (but will).

I just found out the winner by accident. I am delighted with the result and will say no more.

I thought this was going to be a thread about how utterly rubbish it is that the great 1000 Lakes rally has been reduced to a two day event. Two days. For a round of the World Championship. And for some reason the FIA didn't even make it Saturday and Sunday to give the public the best chance of seeing it. No, Friday and Saturday are clearly the better days for spectator sports...

The comment was made about Friday's performance.
Latvala had a great rally, showed superb maturity and really did the team proud.
