What is interesting, when having a look at the 2010 F-duct spec cars, I learned that the F-duct although on the left-hand side of the car, it feeds underneath the cockpit and round to the right of the car before it meets the main air in-take en route to the rear wing.

Now why is that? Must ie be somesort of deliberate delay? It makes much more sense for the F-ducting to feed round to the left-side to the main air in-take? At the very least this would save them a few grammes in weight. So I didn't get that at all. confused

It goes under the cockpit so the drivers can fart in it, giving it a bit more boost.

It's curry the night before the race!
