It needs someone who can articulate the details to the layman, not dumb it down, EXPLAIN. The layman is the majority, we are the minority, in terms of the TV watching audience.

Never really jumped into this debate as I never had any problem with James Allen and don't really "hear" Legard.

I've also come to the conclusion that unless the second name is Walker, and the first Murray, whoever takes over is doomed to fail.

FWIW: I'd stick Croft in the chair next to Brundle and swap Coulthard with Davidson.

Had the 5 live team (with Chandok not Ant) on Kangaroo.tv at Monza. It was good commentary.

Edited to add - also like Ant Davidson as the expert pundit. Ideally though both Ant and Karun will have drives next year and won't need to commentate.

For a laugh, they could give it to Briatore.
