Hungary 12 hour
Discussion
Just over a week away to the 3rd Hungary 12 hour race, run by the same people who organise the Dubai 24hr & to the same rules.
Quite a few strong teams entered (Marcos, Lechner, Konrad, Sunred, ARC Bratislava), pretty diverse field too: Self built Audi R8, Saker, Brokernet, Mini, Clio, Exige, Mustang, Megane Silhouette, Porsche 911, BMW M3 & entries are still open. http://www.24hungaroring.com/default.asp?page=454
No Schubert this year, but the upshot of that is that its much less predictable who will win - Brokernet Silversting finished 2nd last year but some of the diesel BMWs could go quite deep into the race.
Organisers have arranged for English commentary to be streamed for the race via the multimedia site.
9th October race starts 10:00 (local time) which means the Bathurst 1000 preview/build up will start on MotorsTV/Channel 7 just as the chequered flag is waved.
