Hmm - politics... Mosley... No, I don't think I will watch that : not historically a combination that anything good can come out of. Quite why he would want the attention of the media that he tried to gag is almost as baffling as why anyone would think that he was a worthwhile person to put on the television.

Agreed, his ego must have been so abused when he had to let go the reigns of power....

I must confess, I'm genuinely curious as to why he was invited to be on the programme, and will likely watch it to see what he's got to say for himself these days.

I'm intrigued as to what his opinions might be, but more importantly I'm hoping he ends up coming across as an even bigger tt than people expect him too ! I don't doubt I'll end up shouting at the television though...

I may need to install a protective polycarbonate screen in front of it in case he *really* pissed me off and I'm tempted to throw things at the screen...

Quite. And, lets be honest, the majority of people in the UK probably have no idea who he is anyway, which makes it a perfect opportunity for him to come across as a reasonable person

It was only because of his skill at doing that that he was able to acquire and, especially, to maintain so much power.
It is, after all, the art of the barrister to make seem plausible what in reality is utterly preposterous.

I hope they talk about his dad to see if he squirms. Please also remember that the top job in the FIA is unsalaried so he must have done it for the pleasure... Flemke is right that he was a barrister and therefore I expect legal issues to be put to him. His old job at the fia means very little to the majority of people and he only came to te publics attention and gained his notoriety when the spank paddle story was exposed.

Mosley is there for only one reason - his recent high-profile sniveling about privacy laws.
I'd guess that it's pretty much guaranteed that Dimbles will steer him a question about privacy law and defamation (the latter being a vastly more important subject, and the one that Mosley has carefully avoided). If there were no such question, I'd bet a lot that Mosley would find a way to interject the subject even when it is irrelevant to the discussion.
We shall see what he does tomorrow, but it has seemed to me that, in the last 2 years, Mosley has gone out of his way to bring attention to this issue and thus to his dubious personal predilections. It is almost as if he were reveling in the humiliation of his having been caught out. Come to think of it, that would be rather similar to the humiliation of actually having your arse flogged by Nazi officers.

even at the height of his powers, when i could not have disagreed with him more, I found watching interviews with very disconcerting. He is very very skillfull at doig what flemke says - making outrageuous remarks sound very sensible.
