Anyone got a timetable for the above? Can't seem to find any information on either Donington's website or British GT's.

Many thanks,

Andy

Simon, many thanks. I don't suppose in addition to that you have a full timetable for the weekend? To show my appreciation, here's a photo of your car from Oulton Park in April. i have a few more if they're of any interest. Apologies for Facebook hosting quality.

Andy

I thought it was supposed to be a night race? The sun won't even have set when the race finishes at 17:30 confused

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Britcar night race that will be there on October 30th?

Both the British GT and Britcar Donington rounds are meant to be night races.

In addition the CSCC meeting is also meant to future night racing for Tin Tops, Future Classics and JEC.

The British GT website describes it as a twilight rather than a night race which fits with the timings.

There is no timetable for this meeting as yet,
it has not been decided yet.

There is one, it would have been sent out to Teams, Marshals/Officials, Media with the Final Instructions, probably around a week ago.

Just because you can't find one, doesn't mean there isn't one

'Late tomorrow/early Wednesday' sounds like the usual F/up from the SRO.

In my experience, there will be a timetable in existance already, as Marshals, teams, drivers will need to know when to arrive for signon and when, at least generally, they need to be at scrutineering and then trackside. This will have been sent already with passes and final instructions. The GT/F3 teams won't be arriving on Saturday to set up, they'll be there from early friday, if not thursday. So something resembling a coherent time scheme will be in place for the early arrivals.

Timetables are known to be tweeked all week long, I've seen a version 5 at friday signon and a version 11 the following morning.

To my knowledge the time table has'nt changed. Well not as of today anyway.

Andy thanks for the picture. Sadly we have run our course in British GT for 2010 so wont be out at Donington. Leaving it upto the G50's to make up the G4 grid.

Nice to know, but, a whole 5 minutes isn't a major shift!

But will the race start on time anyway;-)

Im thinking of coming up from Devon to watch but does anyone have an entry list for the Gt field as from the coverage ive seen this year the numbers have fluctuated a bit.

And also what is Donington like for amateur photographers these days considering the longest lense ive got is 200mm.

Cheers smile

The entry list is available here:
http://www.brscc.co.uk/2010/entrylists/DP_night_ra...

Photography at Donington is always a bit hit and miss especially now that the only open public areas are from Redgate down to Starkeys. I'm not sure how well you will manage with a 200mm lens as about 99% of this area is behind catchfencing.
