I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all the staff at Britcar to extend our thanks and gratitude to all the marshals who gave up their hard earned free time last week to look after all the teams and drivers taking part in the 2010 Britcar 24hrs.

I know its often said and it can sound a little hollow after a while but none of it would be possible without your dedication and enthusiasm. This year we had an unprecedented number of marshals volunteer for the event and the level of commitment you all showed in atrocious conditions was second to none.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the event in the years to come and we will try to order some sunshine for next year...

Lets run it in July or August and in the sunny warm and dry conditions I can get the shorts out, on second thoughts, leave it where it is

Hi Guys

Haven't said much regarding the Britcar 24hr Weekend but now is the time, Thanks to the marshals for keeping us all safe, thanks to all at Britcar, they did put on a great event despite the weather, we are still buzzing from our success. People have been extremely positive to us (except the one with a blue car who didn't get very far). Also, just to say that the driving standards were excellent considering the conditions. Hats off to all who competed and especially those who finished, what a achievement! Till next time.

David, any idea of TV transmission dates/times/channels as yet?

The production team are still wading through the footage from the race. As soon as we know the transmission times I'll get it posted up on here.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it as I didn't see any of the race as I was running around behind the scenes all weekend.
