Which GT race weekend 30-31st Oct?

Unfortunately I cannot make both but on 30/10/10 there is a Britcar 2.5hr night race at Donnington and on 31/10/10 a GT Trophy 1hr day and 1hr night race at Snetterton.....which should I go to as there doesn't seem to be much information about either? The number of cars entered in each race obviously makes a huge difference for example!
You could always go to Donington on the saturday & stay over to watch good club racing with the CSCC on the sunday - I think they have got 4 x 40 min races (with a pit stop)for Tin Tops (Hondas, Toyotas, Alfas, Peugeots, Fords etc etc), Future Classics (Jags, Porsches, Lotus, Alfas, etc), Swinging Sixties (E Types, Triumph, MGs, Lotus, Alfas etc), & Magnificent Sevens (Locaterfields) with some Jaguar sprint races as well. Then, there is a 40 minute night race for a mix of the CSCC competitors (not the 7s) and a night sprint race for the jags.
If you want to see a bunch of track-day amateurs, with their instructors, then go to Snetterton. A bit like watching a tournament at your local golf club.
If you want to see the winners, and other contenders, of the recent hard-fought Britcar 24hrs, in a proper endurance race, then go to Donington.

Considering the Gt trophy race i last saw contained a Paragon run porsche, a Xero Corvette and various cars run by Topcats racing as well as a Barwell G50, i believe the competitors bear a striking resemblance to those in Britcar actually.....
But the CSCC at any circuit would always get my vote, better racing, and friendlier talkative guys, you will not find.

As sponsors of both the GT Cup, and the Britcar 24 Hours, MMC Motorsport Insurance are passionate about GT racing in the UK; and the two series (mostly) appeal to two different markets.
The GT Cup finale at Silverstone yesterday made for tremendously exciting viewing, and the quality of cars & drivers (including 14 who have raced previously in Britcar!) are a great credit to the Championship. Every grid this year has had in excess of 25 cars, most above 30, and the GT Cup caters for those who want to SPRINT race their GT3 machinery on their own, on great circuits and good race packages.
Britcar caters for a different competitor, car and budget. The recent B24hr event was an unparallel success, but some of the other weekends have been disappointing this year in terms of numbers & quality, but there is really only one series to race (and watch) if you want a true endurance challenge.
The GT Trophy is an interesting one, because you will get both GT Cup teams moving up, and Britcar teams moving across to take part. With the Snetterton race only the 2nd such race weekend, it's too early to draw a conclusion on what teams / cars may be attracted - but the 1st race at Brands was "Britcar heavy".
Back to the OP - as we also sponsor and race with the CSCC, I would defo come to DP to watch Britcar on the Saturday, and then stay on to watch the CSCC programme on the Sunday.
