Spa under threat of cancellation of the Grand Prix. Todt blames Belgian Government, Bernie says sod off to sticking his hands in his pocket and its all not looking good.
Report says of a possible alternating deal with Germany, 1yr Belgium, next a track in Germany. I say great but change it slightly, 2011 Spa-Francorchamps, 2012 Magny Cours etc.

Bigger bucks coming in from further afield. Bernie follows the dosh - no other criteria matters to him.
I think Eric has hit the nail right on the head there.A strong spectator following of F1 is essential if there is to be continued strong following of the sport IMO.
I know I would lose interest if I didn't have the chance of easily seeing and hearing an F1 car on track, and the only option were to hear and see them through the TV.
The main consumer power (and F1 following) is here in Europe but the manufacturing power is over in the far east. He is going to have to strike a fine balance between those two draws.
I don't think that far-eastern manufacturers will be interested in sponsoring F1 if the audience with the consumer power has lost interest in Europe.

If Bernie is prioritising Far Eastern events he needs to go into that home now. Thats right, f
