Imagine if McLaren had let Gordon have a run in one of their cars... Seriously though this, Petrov's prominence and his Lada backing and the forthcoming Russian GP suggests that the country will be taking a real interest in F1 in the near future.

Now, does anyone know what year that F1 car is from? Its a bit odd to look at now my eyes have got used to the new style F1 cars with the pram handle rear wings!

Do you mean Gordon Murray?Years ago I saw a video of Newey, Head and someone else having a spin in one of Williams's chamionship winning car at the end of the season. Probably the FW14b. Interesting stuff and I wish I still had it.
