Imagine if McLaren had let Gordon have a run in one of their cars... Seriously though this, Petrov's prominence and his Lada backing and the forthcoming Russian GP suggests that the country will be taking a real interest in F1 in the near future.

The Russian PR, Petrov driving and sponsors like Lada doesn't really go together with the Lotus/Proton business though. Really not sure what Renault are doing either way.

Years ago I saw a video of Newey, Head and someone else having a spin in one of Williams's chamionship winning car at the end of the season. Probably the FW14b. Interesting stuff and I wish I still had it.
