So the big question is who will win in Bahrain next year. KERS now has made a comeback which should spice things up.

2011 could be a simmilar year to 2009, where one of the tiny teams find a massive advantage and wins the first few races

So I'll go for Koby in ther Sauber.

It will be interesting what Hispania can do with the Toyota deal they apparently have in place

So what KERS are they using in 2011?

Can't help feeling sorry for Mclaren who nailed their system in 2009 only to see it banned when nobody else could make it work.

It wasn't banned IIRC - the teams just agreed they wouldn't use it this year.

Starting the Bahrain thread already, surely this is some sort of joke?

Koby's Sauber was fastest in the speed trap today by 3km/h today according to the graphic that came up mid race smile .

KERS and the adjustable rear wing rules will make things doubly good for overtaking (hopefully!).

Has RedBull spent too much time on this season....or is their car so good that it will just be able to be at the sharp end straight away?! The last couple of seasons the winning team has struggled because they have been so focused on winning the championship.

I doubt a small team will run away with it like 2009. The rule changes just aren't big enough after 2010. I'll go with Vettel in the RB7.

I think it will be more of the same of this year.

RB will have a sweet handling car, McLaren will make KERS work well for them like they did in 2009 and Ferrari will be there or there abouts.

I'd really like to see the Mercedes and Kubica be able to compete with the big 3 teams next year too.

The 2009 Brawn didn't run KERS at all did it? Wonder if that will put Mercedes behind with 2011 KERS.

Can we have a synopsis of the main technical regulations for the season 2011?

It's going to be a straight fight between Hamilton and Vettel in 2011. Hamilton will have the better KERS, whereas Vettel's car will have the edge on the tighter circuits. It should be a great season, but maybe not quite as good as 2010 was!

General hopes for 2011...

Button works out what to do on Saturdays.
The Mercedes and Renault teams are up at the front end, putting Kubica and Schu into the mix for race wins.
Somebody tells Vettel to stop doing the finger thing.
Somebody puts a contract out on Legard.
Pirelli don't make soft tyres that can do at least 3/4 of a race.
Lotus get further up the grid with their Renault/Red Bull bits, giving Sauber/Williams/Toro Rosso/Force India a run for points.
Ferrari are rubbish.
Webber beats Vettel.

With any luck a huge sandstorm will obliterate the track. Is it just me who thinks it mad to build a track that appears to not allow overtaking. But is lauded because it has a hotel that the track runs through and bloody floodlights.
