Unbelievable that he would be wandering around London with that value hanging off him and his girlfriend. This is London guv! Talk about making yourself a stupid target...

Just heard on the radio. Never good to hear...

...however I'm thinking Bernie must have a few 'big and angry' friends in his phone book.

It is believed the billionaire was with his Brazilian girlfriend Fabiana Flosi at the time and the muggers escaped with jewellery worth £200,000.

I would have thought he would have had a minder?

The police will no doubt tell him it's a civil matter and that they are not prepared to take matters further.

I'm not certain but I think he owns the rights to the Police. smile

On a serious note, it's not nice for anyone having that happen but he's a very high profile character and there's alot of poor folk (along side the rich) in the big cities so i'm not surprised unfortunately.

One has a feeling that the Police may not be the first to locate the chaps responsible, and that those chaps may regret having done this particular misdeed.

I cannot believe that, with a friend like Eddie Jordan, he would have a wig that bad. wink It has to be his original hair with an epically bad combover.

You're familiar with the story about Slavica's watch?

I find this most ironic given Bernie's comments about the events of Brazil not a few weeks ago:

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/07112010/2/f1-boss-d...

particularly:

Quote Bernie: 'In London, it's a funny thing you know -- surprising in Oxford Street the number of people that get mugged there hourly,"

and

'They look for victims, they look for anyone that looks like a soft touch and not too bright' rofl
