perhaps more surpising is how few Germans are on the grid..can see the "home" crowd loosing interest if it continues that way.

most german motosport fans like racing, the ones ive chatted too dont really care for the driver, its more the car and with bmw moving to dtm soon it will be a civil war of epic proportions

Anyone know if Andy Priaulx is in the frame for a DTM seat with BMW on their return to the series?

Im pretty sure Priaulx is lined up for one yep, according to an Autosport article last week they'll be entering 6 cars and Mario Theissen's comments were along the lines of "we have 5 drivers who already drive for us so we'll be looking for a least one more to fill the remaining spot" which tends to suggest most of their WTCC drivers will carry over into DTM.

Can't wait to see Priaulx join up in the M3 - his talent is crying out for something more powerful than the 320...

Well done to Paul di Resta - he was in a different league to everyone at Brands this year - an absolute joy to watch.
