I see one of the advantages of being a member of the Mclaren Members Club is you have an opportunity to go on a factory ...quote
"The chance to attend Driver “Meet & Greets” and tour the McLaren Technology Centre
Only Tier 2 members can apply for exclusive events at additional cost; this can include tours of the McLaren Technology Centre - our headquarters - to see the historic cars and the team at work, and the chance to meet our drivers and other members of the team. All subject to availability".

Accepting the key words are 'chance' and 'availability' just wondered if anyone has done this and what they thought of it
My other half is a Mclaren fan and thought buying her membership may be an idea

Do know a friend who's a member. Dates are sparse and often not published that far ahead so you need to be flexible and no guarantees of meeting anyone of note.

Best to pretend you're a tycoon looking to sponsor !

I've been on a tour of the old factory, before MTC was built. It was an excellent day out and great to see behind the scenes.

It was through the members club, I don't remember the process now though.

Not been on an offical tour of the factory but have been there a couple of times for meetings and its well worth a visit for the sheer spectacle of the place!

I have been to both Factories.. Once while at Uni when studying Aero Engineering, the second was a Meeting organised by SGI as we were purchasing a large mathematical modelling machine from them!

The old Factory i remember on of the Early 1990s F1 Cars standing on End in the reception area Spinning around. The new Factory is absolutely ace. But you are not allowed to walk to the entrance... you have to get a Mclaren Minibus from the Car park to the entrnace 250 yards away!

Just sell them some computer software and you get to go a lot. And McLaren Cars, Renault F1 (tomorrow actually), and Williams... etc - they all use our stuff.
