Thank fook for that. Saw the title and just assumed the great man was no longer with us.
Managed to meet him just after the senna death, we were driving near to the factory and my dad pulled up to the gates for a look. Next thing we know the gates start opening,assumed we were in trouble only to have the security guard ask us if we would like to step through to take some clearer pictures!
After a chat we saw a Renault saloon car coming our way which the security guard said was taking Frank home. Next thing we know he gets out starts talking to us and offered to show us the gp collection.
Absolute gentleman he was (as was the security guard)
Might scan a few photos of the tour if anyone's interested and if I can get a good enough quality, will probably not post the ones on the internet of a Gimpy 14 yr old me!

Do they take windy walks together?In more recent years, it has become the euphimism for non-married couples who co-habit.
Its old meaning has been usurped (just like the word "gay" was) and can now lead to puerile giggling when it is used in its older context.

I see nothing wrong at all with Patrick Head being described as Frank Williams long term partner - it's an accurate statement of fact! The term "partner" is commonly used to mean everything from business partner, finance partner, engine partner (Williams famously had Honda and Renault as engine partners) and, of course, co-habiting partner.
Having got that off my chest, what a well deserved award! Frank's story is an inspiration to anyone - and that means everyone - who faces setbacks in life. I'd love to see the team back at the top but it's great anyway that they're still in there, competing hard and never giving up.
