Yes, I was bored. Feel free to add more...
During pre-season testing, Pastor Maldonado suggests a method of downforce to engineers that saves Williams $15 million dollars. He goes on to win 14 of the 16 races and becomes world champion. He also discovers a revolutionary cure for Frank Williams’ disability. He is dropped at the end of the year.
Sebastian Buemi is sidelined after both his arms unexpectedly fall off during his winter training programme.
Jerome D’Ambrosio is fired by Virgin Racing after it is discovered that his signing does in fact not guarantee team members a year’s supply of rice pudding.
Bernie Ecclestone suggests that some races be designated steeplechases, complete with water jumps, “y'know, to liven things up a bit”.
Two London criminals are found encased in concrete in the foundations of the Austin racetrack in Texas. One of them has a Hublot watch where his right eye used to be.

No one will catch Lewis next year, no one.
Because he's had Morse's old Jag fitted with a new supercharged 3.8......Following on from Schumacher's "successful" return, Nigel Mansell announces his return to the F1 grid when he pens a deal to run a fifth Lotus. As part of the accommodation of the battling Brummie, the team purchases a number of "Complaints" boxes and fits them the car, the pit garage, and many other parts of the team's architecture.
The HRT team is bought out by Dacia, and fields Alain Prost as it's new signing as No.1 Driver. Pre-season testing goes well, even though Alain has picked up a habit of flicking the tail of the car out when at full tilt, approaching the hairpin backwards, with tyres fully lit in "reverse thrust", ready for a blast out of the corner.
Mclaren will get on top of this new car and Lewis will be champion next year.
Also Ferrari will "accidently" forget to take the f-duct or similar off their car or "forget" to remove the experimental engine components that produce an extra 200bhp. However the FIA will rule that it was merely a "interpretation" of the rules and they will be let off with the rules being reworded.
Alonso will claim he hadn't actually realised his car was any faster and merely put it down to his teflon like demeanor that he was able to slip away from the field at 2s per lap.

The FIA announce that from 2015 new engine regulations will enforce the use of clockwork motors.
Bernie comments that the obligatory pitstop every 5 laps to wind them back up will "spice things up a bit, especially at races in warm weather where the teams of semi-naked mechanics toiling away is expected to boost female audiences". He later announces a sponsorship deal with a major anti-perspirant manufacturer.

Well - if you want to get really outlandish : there will be an entertaining race on a Tilke designed circuit...
Good piece by Roebuck in Motorsport about Tilke go-kart tracks... Seems even Todt dislikes them. ETA - my prediction? Ecclestone to pop his clogs...
