Considering that HRT will be an even bigger joke this year than last and isn't likely to even make the grid this year imo then this is a bit of a non-story. It just proves how desperate HRT must be for cash!

They did finish ahead of Virgin though. However that was probably down to the drivers rather than the car.

Well he did finish 4th out of 6 who started the 2005 USGP for Jordan. So he can't be all that bad..............oh no, wait.

Well, he may be driving for HRT, but let's not forget the reintroduction of the 107% rule in qualifying, so whether he lines up on the grid or not is another question perhaps.

His driving style would make him too easy to spot. He was supposed to test an M3 GTS for Fifth Gear, but he crashed it in about five minutes. I think he spun off in another Fifth Gear car test, and didn't he nearly crash while driving around the unfinished Indian F1 track?

he's been racing for kolles in an audi r10tdi, so has the right links to get in to hrt with collin kolles running the team.

Chandhok is saying he turned the HRT drive down, saying he wants to be in a team with a chance of WDC points, says he has targetted a couple of teams and will hopefully tie something up within the next few weeks.
My guess is test driver at Lotus (Fernandes lot, not the old renault team).
