At least Henry! Motorsport even at club level is always a case of how big is your wallet-how fast do you want to go!

Before everyone starts on the Inoue, Diniz treadmill can I remind people that M Schumacher, N Lauda, Salo, Barrichello and many many more bought their way into F1 and almost no driver has got anywhere without daddy or his contacts stumping up some cash

I've heard that some GP2 seats are going for £2million!! It's just getting crazy and Bernie needs to step in and tell them to stop taking the p%$s!!
It's more about money than talent nowadays which in any form of motorsport is wrong! Just think how many really talented people are missing out because the driver can't raise the funds required!! Like me........lol

Not saying that anyone of them should be there in an ideal world but bear in mind it's not THAT black and white.

Teams need funding and this has to come from somewhere. The driver has to be responsible for bringing some of that funding in and this is the same for Alonso as much as for De Grassi. Alonso does it by bringing sponsorship (Santanda) and by enabling the team to run at the front of the field, thus bringing points and TV money.

De Grassi does the same thing - he brings with him sponsors (Dad) and enough talent to drive well in races, while he's not the best he's certainly still very good, putting a poor driver in the car costs too much these days when they stack it.
