Motorsport films

Trying to find a retailer who sells new copies of Jackie Stewarts Weekend of a champion on DVD or BLU RAY. film is from 1971 by roman polanski. It had a remastering on dvd a few years ago by 1 of Jackies sons who runs a production co. It then seems to have been withdrawn. Greatful if anyone can offer advice

Would anyone know why it is so rare. Also anyone know about a BBC film Across the lake starring Anthony Hopkins.

Just done a straight “google of “Weekend of a champion” and it threw up a dvd version on e**y at £6.00

It was shown in Channel 4 about 12 years ago - I have it on video from then - they did a night of F1 history with a sort of chat show between the shows, was excellent.

Thanks jogged my memory I taped something that sounds like what you described, now next visit to my parents must check the loft.

lotus 72 on PH is a producer. He has worked with Mark Stewart (Jackie's son who does the film productions) before. If you can't find what you are looking for, I would PM him.

Thanks had been trying to click on link but kept received the 'oops not found' message as Im not the best with these wonderweb machines it took a while to get around problem. Have managed today to E-mail Lotus72. Thanks again.
