So how many BTCC Fans do we have on here? What do you think of the new NGTC regs? And who's attending which rounds this year?

I'm a fan. I might go to Oulton again. Not checked the diary though.

Apparently this year the new NGT cars will be louder and faster than last year, by quite a margin. can't wait for it to kick off.

Sorry, but no.
The NGTC cars performance will be pegged to that of the remaining S2000 cars during the transition period. 2013 springs to mind - I may be wrong.
TBH I was at Brands at the end of last year and the NGTC car being demonstrated sounded like a tractor - quite 'loud' but a very flat exhaust note, and low revving too.

Yes they will be slower but, it's all been done in a bid to bring costs down, which will hopefully tempt the big manufacturers back into the sport & hopefully bring back the door handle to door handle racing!

The new cars wont be that much slower, I expect them to be in the midfield and may be fighting further up the field towards the end of the season when theyve had some development!

I will be going to Thruxton, though if I can I want to attend more rounds this year at Brands and Silverstone!

Early testing this year suggests that one of my customers has got quite a bit more power than last year, and more noise. Granted it may not be a very nice noise, and I agree that TOCA will probably tweek things to try and keep everyone happy, but I am looking forward to it nonetheless.
